Story of O – Wikipedia

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. This book is a classic. This book holds several foundations for the culture which it describes and, to keep away from the misconception that this book simply objectifies women or that O is a “weak” individual, it must be understood that in the real sub-culture men play the same roles as O does in this book and that O’s story is about some individuals’ need to tap into a part of their psyche that most of us simply do not possess.

Yes, many if not all of these things really happen. No, these things are not “perverted” or “grotesque”. This is simply an alternative lifestyle which seems extreme by the standards of mainstream western culture.

I would like to point hustoria that besides O’s alternative sexual preferences, she was a functioning part of her society, complete with a career, an apartment which she paid for before Rene’s appearance in her d, and she continued to keep up her facade of conforming to a “normal” daily life like her coworkers despite her private life; no one besides those she chose to expose her secret life to knew about the conditions of her willing servitude.

When one considers how little they actually know about those they deal with on a daily basis it begs the question, “how common are these types of alternative lifestyles?

História de O

A very well xrepax story about delightful submissive girl O and the people around her. If you are weak, don’t ever try to put your nose here. This isn’t a story for “the weak of heart” it is explicit BDSM and the depths of depravity Just like the film it explores O’s need to be dominated and enslaved by the darkest of Doms, exposing the deviant side of the human psyche with disturbing reality.

For most this book crosses a line but if you’re open minded and enjoy your erotica dark, you will enjoy the “edge play” in this novel.

A good glimpse of the desires a submissive feels, her needs and experiences of slavery. Instead of being repetitive here, I recommend you read other the reviews explaining another important stuff re: LaraB rated it it was amazing Jul 10, Clarice Atwood rated it it was amazing Apr 19, Willow Croft rated it it was amazing Apr 08, Feu Sensuelle rated it it was amazing Jun 11, Kim rated it it was amazing Jan 01, Jeanine Alkaher rated it it was amazing Jan 19, Emerson rated it it was amazing Jun 14, Monica rated it it was amazing Feb 02, Johnlouis rated it it was amazing Apr 11, Debbie rated it it was amazing Mar 06, Kenneth Meshell rated dd it was amazing Jul 26, Historis Brooks rated it it was amazing Mar 09, Janet rated it it was amazing May 17, Angelic Martinez rated it it was amazing Sep 21, Kristin rated it it was amazing Oct 02, Christine rated it it was amazing Dec 04, Tan Ya rated it it was amazing Jul 24, Elena rated it it was amazing Aug 02, Kenneth rated it it was amazing Feb 26, Talia Trujillo rated it it was amazing Feb 01, April Cantrell rated historla it was amazing Oct 12, Padaka Niuni rated it it was amazing Mar 12, Alistair Hunter rated it it was amazing Oct 30, Elvitz Flores rated it it was amazing Oct 09, There are no discussion topics on this book yet.

The Story of O: A Graphic Novel by Guido Crepax

The blurb to the book states it all: But still the contents are remarkable and as I’ve never read “Justine” by the Storh de Sade, I must rectify that.

In the first adaptation, we come across bondage, monks, soldiers, villainous sadistic creatures tormenting poor Justine. She’s enjoying it, of course, and the cartoons are a delight.

The second part with “L’Histoire d’O”, this is also excellent but more sensuous and titillating than the first. I know nothing about this individual but I found the following review crepaax Amazon which helped to enlighten me: The first story, “Justine or the Misfortune of Virtue,” is written by the notorious Marques de Sade in For those who are not familiar with this work, it is a story about 2 sisters, Justine and Juliette, and their trials and tribulations.

In this book, Guido changed the background story a ctepax, omitting that Justine’s and Juliette’s father fell in love with another man’s woman and jumped right to his bankruptcy and ruin that set the two sisters each on their separate journeys in life. In several other ov, Guido also took the liberty to make minor changes to the story and this adaptation is effective in keeping dtory story focused. The virtuous Justine, we are told through Guido’s illustrations, constantly faces adversity and could not escape a life of misfortunes, while the corrupted Juliette enjoys a life of luxury.
